About Us

The TERMINUS SCUM server launched in February 2025 and has been running ever since for the Hungarian survival community. Over the years more than 500 players have stopped by, and nearly 200 are still active members of our Discord community.

We built the server so that both PvE and PvP players can find what they are looking for, whether it is relaxed base building or tactical combat. What matters to us is fair play, a strong community vibe, and giving everyone an even playing field.

Our active admin team keeps an eye on the game, we regularly host events, and we keep improving the server based on feedback. If you want a friendly but challenging SCUM environment where survival means more than just fighting, you are in the right place.

Rules

All players must behave respectfully toward other players and admins.
Toxic behavior (racism, provocation, insults, intentional obstruction of others) is prohibited.
Cheating, exploiting glitches, bug abuse, or macro usage results in an immediate permanent ban.
Advertising other servers is prohibited.
Multi-account usage is strictly forbidden.
VPN usage is prohibited.
If multiple players play from the same IP address, this must be reported in advance via a ticket.
Spreading false, defamatory, or negative information about players, admins, or other servers is prohibited.

Depiction of genitalia is prohibited (exception: relevant in-game screenshots).
Political content is not allowed, including:
- current political debates
- ideologies
- any content related to the Russian–Ukrainian war
Respectful and civilized communication is mandatory in all channels.

Admins do not respond via private messages or global server chat.
All server-related matters must be handled exclusively through the Discord ticket system.
In case of rule violations:
- written warning
- each warning includes a 3-day mute (both server and Discord)
- after 3 warnings: 1-month server ban
- in severe cases, admins reserve the right to immediate ban

The server is primarily PvE.
PvP zones:
- All Z sectors are fully PvP zones.
- Building is allowed in Z sectors.
- PvP in Z sectors is allowed every Friday and Saturday between 18:00–22:00.
- Everything is allowed in PvP zones except placing mines.
In PvE zones it is forbidden to:
- kill players
- steal
- enter other players’ bases
- loot corpses
- steal vehicles
The server logs corpse looting and vehicle theft, and these can be sanctioned. Property protection is primarily the player’s responsibility (lock vehicles, lock chests, fence bases).

A player may raid another base only if they have their own flag placed in a PvP (Z) sector.
Admin bases can be raided by anyone, regardless of PvP flag placement.

Maximum:
- 2 vehicles per player
- 10 vehicles per squad (max. 5 aircraft)
The vehicle owner is the player who last drove it (tracked even without a lock).
Assembled vehicles must have their doors replaced immediately.
Players inactive for more than 14 days do not count toward the limit.
Disassembled vehicles and parts cannot be sold at outposts.
Unassembled vehicles:
- can be locked
- count toward the limit
- may be automatically deleted if the limit is exceeded
If the vehicle limit is exceeded, the system may automatically delete vehicles at dawn.

After 14 days of inactivity, a base becomes raid-enabled automatically.
Mines may only be placed inside your own base.
Claiming buildings is prohibited.
Building or blocking POIs (military base, police station, gas station, etc.) and roads is prohibited.
Locking existing buildings is prohibited.
1 farm may be claimed with prior admin approval (via ticket).
Maximum 1 flag per squad (exceptions: island owners, subscribers, or expansion pack holders).

Suicide results in intelligence loss. No memory module provided.
Using another player’s bank card without permission is prohibited.
Suggestions can be submitted in the suggestion box. Admins review them weekly.

I started playing SCUM in 2022, so I am not exactly a veteran, but since then I have logged over 1500 hours, mostly on PvP servers. Outside the game I work as a software developer, and in my free time I build the technical backbone of Terminus (bots, web panels).
